NU-ENERGY

Nu-Energy Ltd is a developer of biomass-fired heat and power generating stations.  In 2016 CWP Ltd worked with Nu-Energy Ltd to support the development of an 8MWe biomass generating station in the East Midlands (UK). Nu-energy approached CWP for help in understanding the eligibility of their generating station under the UK’s Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).    Thanks to our excellent network of contacts we were able to liaise directly and speedily with Ofgem on their behalf, obtaining a pre-application opinion of eligibility for the station from Ofgem’s technical managers.  This gave the project investors the certainty they required to push the project forward.
