ISO STRATEGIC ADVISORY GROUP (SAG-E)

The Strategic Advisory Group on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources (SAG-E) was established in January 2008 to provide advice and guidance to the executive ISO Technical Management Board (link to ISO TMB website) on priority standards and actions in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.  The long-term goal of SAG-E was to strengthen the value and positive impact of International Standards on climate change.  Gideon Richards, our CEO, was a member of SAG-E from its inception to its closure in 2014, he joined as the BSI representative providing particular experience of the renewable energy sector for the group, who mainly came from the energy efficiency sector.
