DC21

DC21 provides holistic energy solutions to clients ranging from individuals to international retailers.  We have been working with DC21 since 2009 primarily offering planning application and appeals services for their renewable energy project,s with a particular focus on wind energy in the small/medium scale range (50kW-500kW).

This work requires a strong understanding of the law, policy, legislation and regulation to ensure applications stand the best chance of receiving planning approval.  In a highly specialist field with acute sensitivities we spend a lot of time interpreting documentation, including local and national policy frameworks and the state of drivers for renewable energy uptake across the UK.

Our Consultant Nicola Pugh has led our work with DC21  providing them with policy analysis and guidance, design and access statements, heritage statements, acoustic reports, ZVI and shadow flicker drawings, photomontage visualisations and landscape and visual impact assessments.  She has also managed a  number of planning appeals  following both the written and hearing procedures and  often dealing with complex issues such as interference with Air Traffic Control Radar.
